Joan Says:
I am curious why there is an age restriction since CSO’s are for faculty, instructors and students as Mrs. Eddy indicates in The Manual bylaw.
Thanks!

Hey, this sounds like a great idea. I remember attending something like this in Missouri many years ago, and it was a wonderful experience –Bob H, Topeka KS
Linda Bargmann Says:
Hi Step and Holly,
Nate Talbot’s letter says there aren’t many registered yet. I think you can see from that and the questions above that people need some answer first. Please answer on this blog so that all may see. I have three questions:
1) The flyer says minors need a chaparone, but it does not tell us how that will be accomplished. Does that mean I need to come with my 14 year old?
2) How do the kids get there? Those flying in have asked that question, but even those who live here in St. Louis need to know if we should be forming car pools, if there is going to be a bus, etc.
3) The question was asked above about trips to Principia School and/or College. Are they being arranged?
Thanks for answering these questions so that all may see.
Linda
Leah McFall Says:
I did not see a reply to the question about mailing the surveys. It would be helpful in future if that information was provided on the survey or in the letter to superintendents. I have a few to return if you still need them. Email me at leahmcfall@hotmail.com. Thanks!
Stephanie Hood Says:
Hello Leah!!
Here is the address for those surveys
Thank you so much!!

Holly Napper Says:
Linda,
thank you for your questions!!!!
first, about chaparones, the committee is not responsible for giving chaparones you have to apoint one your self weather it be you or someone else that you trust with your child, and maybe if there are more kids from your area going you and the other parents can get togeather and apoint someone for that group.
second we will have people meet at prin to take the bus. with airport arrivels but i believe people are welcome to drive themselves down, we will have more posted as we go along and as everything comes togeather, we still have alot of organizing to do.
and lastly i don’t think i’m quite clear on what your asking about prin, are you asking about people going to visit the campuses!?! and if so i’ll have to get back to you on that!!!
i hope that clears up most of your questions.
thank you again

Maramara Says:
I love the idea, but why have the youth summit during/right around AP testing?
I understand it can’t be changed now, but I would love to go next year, and I could around this time.
Anyway, it sounds like a wonderful celebration of God’s love!
Alison Says:
I would like to attend but did not find a schedule. Where can I find the schedule of events? I need to be able to make travel arrangements. If it is not posted anywhere on the site, would you please email it to me at zelia_mi_luz@yahoo.com? Thanks.
Kate Dearborn Says:
Just checking to see if Taylor Dearborn’s registration was received. (I can’t type, and spelled it Dearaborn!)
How do I find out if it was received. Also, I’d like to volunteer – and we’d like to room with another potential volunteer and daughter: Linda Hannan and daugher, Devon.
Linda and I were wondering what to do in order to volunteer?
Thanks!
Kate Dearborn Says:
Do Linda and I need to send in separate reservations for ourselves if we are volunteers? Thanks!
Anonymous Says:
Thank you, Maramara, for your comment!! Hope you are able to join in at another Summit very soon!!

Hello Alison!!! Thank you for your question!!
We will have a schedule up soon. We are working out the details. We are actually haveing two different schedules. One for high school age and up and then a special and unique schedule designed for the middle school ages! Pretty exciting! What i can tell you is that the Summit will start around 830pm on Friday. We will have music and fun with Michelle Armstrong and the Clements brothers.
Then on Saturday will be a lot of workshops, lectures, more music, and fun activities. Then we will wrap it up on Sunday with Church and Sunday School Services and then some more workshops and then end with fruitage.
We will be ending the Summit around 4pm and buses back to St. Louis and the airport will be leaving around 4:45pm. It is about 1.5hrs to 2hs drive between the St. Louis and Trout Lodge.
For coming into St. Louis. There will be shuttle buses provided from the St. Louis campus. They will be leaving at three different times. As of now, those times are 4pm, 5pm, and 630pm. We have van shuttles running from the airport to the St. Louis campus also. So anyone coming into the airport will be able to get rides to the St. Louis campus.
Please let me know if you have ANY more questions! We will have a schedule up very soon. Please feel free to email me directly at midwestsummit@gmail.com
THANK YOU!!!

I was wondering if there are activities for people who are 25 and older. I live in Williams, Arizona near Flagstaff and would like to meet CS people.
TMC Youth Says:
The Summit is for people from 12-30. We’d love to have you join us! All of the information you need is at the top of this page. If you have any other questions, post them here.
Laura Says:
Is it possible for someone to come just on Sunday if they cannot come before than? Is it too late to register for that, or how should they proceed?
TMC Youth Says:
Yes! You can come for the Sunday sessions only. You will need to provide your own transporation, however.
