Do God and romance have anything to do with one another? It's probably never really occurred to you that there's a connection, but our right relationship to God actually puts us into right relationship with everyone else. Listen to Christian Science lecturer Lois Carlson to see how.

I love this podcast. It is a great addendum to Lois' "Sexuality and the Spiritual Thinker" chat on spirituality.com (5/10/06). Whether you're married or single, widowed or divorced, male or female, of few years or many years, interested in marriage or happily unmarried, this talk offers neat insights into how to live "the gold of your individuality" and how to find that gold in others' individuality and how to give that gold in all relationships, starting with the main one -- with God. Rating: five out of five gold stars!

Louis thank you so very much for this excellent podcast. I've been struggling deeply with a very committed relationship over the past few months and have been unsure how to go forwards with it as I have felt it hasn't been very spiritually connected. I'm definitely going to write a list of all the qualities I am looking for in a life partner - what a wonderful idea. I'm also going to spend time each morning just like you did - cherishing the idea that God loves me and will lead me down right paths. This was perhaps the best podcast I've ever heard at TMC Youth. Thank you so very much for this touching lecture on God and Romance - it was so very needed!

Mrs. Carlson is absolutely delightful. May I forward the 30 minute program to a friend? My e-mail address is jbaer@starband.net

I listened to this podcast a month or 2 ago and found it full of wonderful ideas and very clear spiritual thinking and communication. I had been looking for ideas to share with a teenager, but ended up being very grateful for the inspiration and honesty expressed for myself, an adult. Thank you!

this is good -- never think about God and romance as connected -- well until now. i'm going to think about asking God into my relationships from here on out and not just hte romantic ones either.

So glad to hear the distinction between sexuality and sensuality. And to express the qualities, and recognize them in others, that you would like to companion with.
