Praying for the world. Maybe it’s a phrase that has rolled off your tongue without much thought. But what does that mean? And is it even possible to pray effectively for a world so big and complex?
We traveled to the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington to talk with college students on campus, including some who are part of the Christian Science Organization there. Also while on campus, we spoke with the university’s interfaith chaplain. Finally, back in Boston we invited Christian Science lecturer Ryder Stevens into the studios to ask how he approached world conflict while working as a military chaplain. He tells us how he’s seen big results through simple prayers.
