International Planning Team Internship

What makes Christian Science a global movement? How is Christian Science practiced in other parts of the world? This internship will provide you with an opportunity to discover the answers to these questions and more.

The Mother Church’s Integrated International Planning Team is looking for a globally-conscious individual for a research internship. This opportunity will allow you to learn how the organization coordinates its international activities and how it engages the global community. We’re looking for an intern who is passionate about the same thing we are: bringing healing to the world. This internship is designed for those who wish to pursue careers in international research, social work, and diplomatic affairs.

All internships require applicants to be Mother Church members and proficient in MS Office programs, including MS Word, Excel and Outlook.

Opportunities will include:

  • Assist with research on specific topics relating to the international field using available resources within and outside the organization.
  • Support the project management staff in activities which include, but are not limited to:
  1. Expanding a website for international reference
  2. Collecting and organizing research material for strategic planning
  3. Providing logistical support for overseas travels

Desired Qualifications:

  • Globally conscious, culturally sensitive, and eager to learn about the international field
  • Enjoy and have demonstrated excellence in research, analysis, and communication (written and oral)
  • Flexible, self-motivated, resourceful and goal-oriented
  • Able to multitask and work in a professional setting
  • Eager to meet and exceed objectives and learn new skills
  • Studied overseas and/or a fluent in a second language (preferred, but not mandatory)

  • 9 weeks or longer
