Summer-2010 TMC Youth Internships!
If you want to learn new skills, work with creative and talented people, and really make a difference in the lives of others, then a TMC Youth Internship may be right for you.
We are looking for highly motivated people with the desire to share in the activity of The Mother Church and Christian Science Publishing Society and a passion for service.

Summer Internships
Who is Eligible to Apply
Internships are open to graduate and undergraduate students, 18-25 years of age, who are Mother Church members. TMC Youth is looking for compassionate spiritual thinkers who are proactive in their communities, churches, and on their university campuses. Above all, interns must share TMC Youth’s commitment to the healing mission of The Mother Church.
International students holding F-1or J-1 Visas are eligible for the internship program, subject to the approval of their respective colleges/universities and the obtaining of an Employment Authorization Document from the US Citizenship and Immigration Service covering the period of the internship program. International students requiring other work authority are not eligible.
What Interns Do
Each internship is geared to the student’s field of study (for example, video production, web design, graphic design, publishing). They are placed with departments throughout The Mother Church. Most of the interns’ time will be dedicated to their sponsoring departments. However, some time will also be spent with TMC Youth, making this a very exciting and variety-rich opportunity.

- Research
- Publishing
- Multi-media
- Business and Finance
- Internet
- And more
With TMC Youth 1/4 of every week
- Helping The Mother Church explore ways to engage youth all over the world
- Helping with ongoing and new media and web publishing projects
- Exploring ways to increase youth participation with the Monitor and periodicals
- Learning more about The Mother Church and Mary Baker Eddy
- Contributing and actively participating in group meetings and projects
- Engaging in community outreach activities
Compensation
All interns receive the following compensation:
- $200/week living stipend*
- Housing* *
- An educational stipend of between $2000-$3000, depending on the length of the internship, from the Albert Baker Fund

- New web content in Spanish
- Blogs and articles written for tmcyouth.com, spirituality.com, and the Christian Science magazines
- New video content for the Board of Lectureship
- In-depth look into the life and mission of Mary Baker Eddy and The Mother Church
