Some students have attended a Christian Science Sunday School since they were born, while others may be attending one for the first time. This experience gap can be hard to manage both as a teacher and a student. But, one Sunday School teacher in Paris, France discovered how natural it was to conduct class no matter the background of her students or the size of her class.
TMC Youth’s Susie Rynerson sat down with Miryam Betouche who shared how her classes became more meaningful—and grew—once she prayed about how to better “receive” students in Sunday School.

Sunday School students and teachers answer questions about some of their favorite resources for Sunday School and how to use them. They explain how they like to learn Bible stories and dive into the Bible Lesson. They also suggest ideas for how to use computers, the internet, discussion groups, and other activities to enrich classes and build community.
Sunday School teachers share how they rely on God’s guidance to help their students think through things on their own and come to an accurate understanding of Christian Science. They also talk about specific ideas on how this has happened in their individual class experience. Their situations may be unique to them, but the ideas could very well be helpful to you.
