Home : Videos and Podcasts : TMC Youth Podcasts : #14 - You can be healed

When Christian Science lecturer Evan Mehlenbacher was a kid, he stepped on a rusty nail and it almost went clear through his foot. He was scared, but as he thought about what he knew first hand about the healing power of God, he knew he could trust God to heal him.

Evan shares step by step his thought process, how he dealt with his fears, what he learned about God and the end result. He worked it out through prayer and shows how your prayers can heal you, too.

It was great to hear this podcast! It was so upbeat and positive and really made me think prayer can effectively heal. I’ve heard some of the other podcasts on tmcyouth.com and have felt the messages were sullen, shallow, discouraging, and ineffective. I’ve needed a cheery, elevating message about how to pray, and how to pray scientifically. Mr. Mehlenbacher, in just the span of this 15 minute podcast, has taught me exactly what I’ve needed to know. He’s greatly uplifted my thought.

    Thanks for your help,

    Yuther11

I really like this podcast, too, but have to say I’ve never heard one by TMC Youth that was sullen, etc. We must’ve listened to different shows…

Yes, I’ve heard inspiring podcasts here too. Different podcasts hit listeners in different ways. So, I remain grateful for all the various ways people have to explore spirituality and gain the inspiration that is helpful to them.
