These podcasts are great! Please keep them coming. I just listened to #2. Sometimes I have wondered whether it’s possible to have a lasting relationship with someone. I have asked myself whether I would eventually lose interest in the other person. I wonder how I would keep the relationship alive. So I really liked what Ginny said. When you love someone for their spiritual qualities, you can look for and expect a “never ending discovery of the amazing spiritual qualities that we each individually express”.
I’ve been struggling a lot with this lately too.
I’ve listened to this relationships podcast 3 times now, and I’m really grateful for it. I was abused as a child, and it seems as though the words my father said to me about being unlovable have played themselves out continually in my relationships– things will be going great and then suddenly I’d be rejected. And even for people who were not abused, it’s like society brainwashes us into thinking we’re separate and need to look for love outside ourselves. It seems so hard sometimes to make the jump into really understanding that Love is always there and I don’t have to search outside for it. I like the tools Ginny gave us to work this out. I made a list of spiritual qualities and I like how Ginny says we can claim those as already ours. I started doing this yesterday, and I don’t feel the love yet, but I’m not going to give up. It’s like going to school, you have to study every day for 4 years to get the degree you need, and you don’t give up studying if one subject is hard. Thank you for these podcasts.
Thank you so much for this. It has some great advice. Please keep them coming!
I am really looking forward to part 2.
Part 2 will be here in just a few more days. There was a slight delay from the production side of things. Get ready for it cause it’s gonna be great!
