On the last podcast we talked about Jeremiah. An ancient Hebrew prophet who lived at the time of the conquest of Judah. He learned from watching the creative process of a potter. How God, our creater, cares for his children under all circumstances even when everything seems to be falling apart. Listen to this podcast and discover more about how Jeremiah struggled and fought, and kicked and screamed. Nothing much came easy to him, but he hung in there.
Here is the 2nd podcast from the Bible Alive series. It is part of a series of podcasts by Christian Science lecturers. Elaine would love to know what kind of questions this podcast sparks for you.

Thanks for these podcasts, Elaine. I am the only Christian Scientist at my school, and I’ve wanted to share its healing message with others, but I have been very afraid to share because of negative reactions in my community. It’s reassuring to hear that even a prophet goes through the same thing. How do I get better at losing my fear? Or do I just go forward anyway in spite of fear?
Hi
I was going to reply here, but there’s a whole neat discussion group going on!

Loved these two on Jeremiah and am headed to my Bible to read more. Am really looking forward to more about the prophets. Would also like Bible Alive to look into doing the Adam/Eve story, Paul’s adventures, each of the Gospel authors’ lives, and women in the Bible (ie Ruth, Deborah, etc)
I would like to know more about what subscribing means too. Want to share these at Sunday School but want to do the right thing, not pirate your hard work.
These are free to distribute and share however you want. You can subscribe by downloading iTunes and then hitting our iTunes subscribe button on the blue bar at the left.
