Responsibilities:
- Assist with the design and coordination of programs that engage Sunday School students with all facets of the design of Church (testimony meetings, Reading Room, etc.)
- Help with the design and coordination of events that connect TMC with the youth and/or families of our community.
- Encourage and assist with coordination of youth participation in Wednesday testimony meetings and Sunday services.
- Serve as a Greeter at Sunday School, welcoming and registering visitors and assisting with the weekly Open House. Encourage similar involvement of Sunday School students.
- Analyze TMC’s current communication with various public audiences (i.e. college students, parents of young children, etc.) and make recommendations for improvement.
- Assist with behind-the-scenes clerical tasks of providing three sessions of Sunday School each week, including coordinating visits of groups to TMC Sunday School.
- Help with Wednesday evening childcare
Desired Qualifications:
- Love of Christian Science, Church and youth.
- Creative, proactive, and warm
- Good communication and computer skills
- Must go through the approval process for all who work with children (interview, two references and a criminal background check)
