Get a behind-the-scenes look at how a magazine operates from concept to design. Gain experience with the editorial process for publishing on the web and in print. Discover how to present a spiritual response to issues facing youth. Be exposed to thinking globally about Christian Science. Learn how to apply Christian Science in a deadline-oriented setting.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with editing content for the magazines and the web
• Assist with copyediting of reprints and related projects for the web
• Write at least one metaphysical article

Desired Qualifications:

• Journalism or English major preferred
• Some familiarity with publishing environments, including the Internet
• Keen interest in writing and Christian Science
• Reader of the magazines and spirituality.com
• Ability to work with teens/20-somethings

How long is the internship?

• At least 8 weeks

When do I start?

• Summer 2008
