This will prove to be a great experience for anyone who loves research and wants to learn more about Mary Baker Eddy and the history of Christian Science. It will provide a valuable training opportunity for anyone who is interested in a career in archives or as a historian.
Responsibilities:
- Assist visitors to the Library research room, helping them use our materials and our database of Mrs. Eddy’s correspondence and other manuscripts
- Respond to research requests
- Assist in the transcription of documents which will eventually become part of our database
Desired Qualifications:
- Interest in the history of Christian Science and its discoverer, Mary Baker Eddy, is required
- Background in American history is very desirable
- Talent for proofreading
- Attention to detail
