i guess the quote for me was a reassurance that there is order and what is right triumphs over bad or “evil”. The rest of the line says “even the way of Truth and Love whereby all our debts are paid, mankind blessed, and God glorified.” Mayeb this helps?

Hey Jean,
I was thinking about your question, and here’s what I came to so far. Material circumstances are pretty random, and anything can happen. But we are always able to be blessed/have the chance to grow spiritually. It’s this sense of God, or chance to progress in our understanding of God, which is winning the right of way, not the material events going on around us. So maybe a seemingly random/haphazard event really is the right oppotunity to learn something new.
Hope this in some way answers your question- feel free to say no though.

I don’t get how life isn’t haphazard. It sure seems like chance is a big part of every day life. Can you explain this more?
