This is a powerful thought for me! Considering that being even at the bank of a river leads to being evergreen, without fear of drying up or withering. The waters in the river are made up of many drops which alone do not form the river...but collectively, with a common purpose a river is formed and demonstrated. When i know that am one of the children of God, then all becomes harmonious in as long as I view the others also as equal siblings of our Father-Mother God. Thanks for this wonderful blog.

Peace and Love...

Thank you both for your lovely thoughts! How humbling to know that there is ONE source of Mind, which we all reflect and reciprocate. Mind brings the same currents of Truth and understanding to the thought of man.

I absolutely love this post!
My husband and I spent ten years playing, racing and competing in whitewater rivers and the analogy of God as a river is powerful and thought-provoking.
Rivers have taught me so much about trust in God, yielding to God's infinite power, and about beauty, handling fear, holding in thought the perfect man, and about healing. I could go on and on.
Thank you again for your beautiful post!
And thx to Bronxbaby for your thoughts. Wonderful again!

YES!!!
Recently in my prayers some very similar thoughts came to mind.
It was so comforting..
In my case,it was the image of the river(God) and river rafters.(us)
That when we hop into that raft (consciuosness) and let the river current (the Christ) carry us along all is well in back of us and in front and there is no need for worry or strife. We can trust that that perfect current will lead us to exactly the right place and we don't need to know where that is to trust it.
It's when we resist and try to paddle against it that we seem to have trouble.
It was very vivid for me and very helpful.
thanks!
