Christian Science lecturer Gisele Yitamben knows what it’s like to be in debt. When she returned from school abroad and started a new job in her native country of Cameroon, she was abruptly fired for no reason. After every human solution failed, a friend introduced her to Christian Science and she learned that she had to improve her relationship to God, to be ready to do His will. Now she’s a successful businesswoman and the founder and president of ASAFE. It provides support services to women entrepreneurs and disadvantaged youth, and helps them become self-sufficient and bring prosperity to their communities. Listen to Gisele as she shares her story-and the spiritual ideas that helped her-in French.

Gisele Yitamben, conférencière de la Science Chrétienne, sait ce que cela veut dire d’être endetté. Lorsqu’elle est revenue d’un séjour d’études à l’étranger pour commencer un nouveau travail dans son pays natal, le Cameroun, elle a été subitement licenciée sans raison. Après avoir essayé tous les moyens humains en vain un ami lui a présenté la Science Chrétienne et elle a appris qu’il fallait qu’elle améliore sa relation avec Dieu, afin d’être prête à suivre Sa volonté. Maintenant elle est une femme d’affaire ayant beaucoup de succès, fondatrice et présidente de l’ASAFE. C’est une organisation qui offre un service de soutien aux femmes qui veulent créer leur propre entreprise et aux jeunes désavantagés en les aidant à devenir indépendant et à apporter la prospérité à leur communauté. You can get a taste for the music right here as you listen to Julia talk with TMC Youth’s Sharman Brown. She shares how she learned to sing in Spanish and how she chose these particular Latin songs. It wasn’t easy to narrow them down!

They explain how they have created an environment that fosters the free exchange of ideas, and how they prefer to ask and respond to questions while exploring the deeper meanings of texts from the Bible and Science and Health.
