The word that comes to my mind whenever listening to Andrew's work is "EFFORTLESS" and "CRYSTAL CLEAR."

Beyond the surface, I see his mastery of music talents, ripe thoughts - which SO NATURALLY flow... Very, very nice!!

He is really letting the beauty of Spirit, SOUL, shine through his work. Not pumped up or pressured... Just being a crystal-clear expression of the MESSAGE - Very inspiring. In the seeming simplicity of his works, there is ever-refreshing profoundness.

God bless you, Andrew! Thanks!

This guy is awesome. I loved Somewhere To Begin, and I had wondered what the guy behind the music was like. Its so refreshing in this interview to hear an intelligent, talented person in my generation that is into Christian Science. Musically, his work is so great. What a treat to have really good, contemporary music with CS lyrics. I'm looking forward to picking up O Holy Night from the reading room soon. I hope he keeps these albums coming!

PS - My hobby is to write songs and perform them on my guitar, and over the last year or so I've started to get into playing hymns. Andrew James' music inspires me to keep working on playing hymns myself.

I love how the guitar and percussion MOVES.... the pieces, gives them the sense of going forward, like in "What is thy birthright man?" and "I'm a Pilgrim, I'm a Stranger".
My favorite in your first album is "Whither"! I keep playing it over and over....I so love the harmony! So looking forward to "O Holy Night"!
Your voice has a special quality of humility and strength. Thanks so much for sharing your gifts!
