I know it can be difficult to do the right thing when you're the only one. I unfortunately have not had as good an experience as you and I lost friends and was made fun of for taking a stand. I have felt very hurt and lonely and depressed in the years since then. I'm in college now and have trouble fitting in and making friends so I still struggle with these feelings. This year I called a practitioner to pray about this problem. He told me that there are other people like me and to not feel like I made a bad choice. Reading this has been an answer to my prayers and has given me much hope that I'm not the only one and that someday I will meet people like you. THANK YOU!!! Hello Bryan,

I have a senior friend in my church who is struggling with this lie of hay fever and I'm going to share your experience with her. It took years of humiliating and making a fool of myself to reach the point that this guy is at, and to think: he has NEVER had a drink, and KNOWS he doesn't need or want one. Very encouraging.
